Located in a small, bustling shopping street in Neustadt, we found our first favorite. The Sankt Pauli serves delicious food and cocktails.

It was after passing this restaurant on several occasions, and looking at the tempting plates of the customers, that we decided to set foot there.
The Sankt Pauli features a sidewalk terrace and two comfortable dining rooms, decorated in a simple, neutral style.

For the aperitif, we choose two cocktails that are superb both physically and in taste.
For the main course, we opt for a piece of beef with blueberry sauce and Czech dumplings. The plate is generous and tastefully filled, as the chefs take a rather simple dish and dress it up in a modern way.

Having eaten our fill, we won’t be having dessert this time.
Prices are slightly higher than in other Dresden restaurants. However, regarding the taste, the quality of the products and the work of the cooks, this seems reasonable. At last, a restaurant worthy of the name (remember to make reservations, as the place fills up fast).
